You can e-mail Nokna. He always stays somewhere on Soi Sansa Bai but I cannot remember the name of the place. But he knows the areas well.
This past August I stayed at the Tony Resort, close to Christin on Rat-u-thit Rd. It was 1100 baht and included breakfast. There are cheaper but this place is maybe one year old and the rooms are large.

after a long search,this was all i could find on andaman hotel,not a lot of info i'm afraid.
not on sansabai,but rat-u-thit,but could be the same one.
there are a few andaman hotels in patong,but mainly quite expensive.
i have no positive recollection of an andaman hotel on sansabai,but there is an andaman travel.
and in the back of my mind,i might have very very vague memories of room above it,but cannot be sure.

I need a family type hotel less then 4000 per day. We arrive 12 April and stay till 20 April. My daughter wants to head over to Phi Phi Island for a day. Easy to get to? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Tropicana Bungalows ?
not been to Phuket for maybe 18 months used to stay in hotel (more bungalows than Hotel) on beach rd just before corner of Bangla.
I am almost sure the above is the name, Tried a search with no results.
Is it still there, changed its name, still worth a visit etc
Any info much appreciated

Hi badger,
the hotel name you looking for is Tropica bungalow.
just don't forget to ask for a room in the new building, because some of the old wooden bungalows are becoming quite uncorfortable.

My daddy, as you know I am usually staying at the Expat Hotel in Soi Galaxy, just the next soi where you used to stay. Then Dan recommended me another hotel, I will have to find the calling card after work and I will post these details.
