My God I love Thailand. I went with a buddy of mine from work (Loknar) and he extended another week and is still there.
I want to go back as soon as I can.
I will post a more complete post later, just wanted to get a few words up. We stayed at the Tropica Bungalows, BTW no joiner and a very nice central location. I had my choice of BGs the whole time, couldn't have been better.
Loknar must have had every BG in Patong! At the end he had me running past Beer Bars with him because the BGs all up and down Bangala were calling his name. I mean it was off the hook. He never BF'd two diffrent BGs at the same place but it became clear that once you LT them they want to hang on to you.
BTW Nokna we looked at the Sansabai place you like so much and didn't care for it. People were nice and I can see that as a draw but on the whole it just looked too run down for us. No offence just wasn't our cup-o-tea. We did appreciate your many recommendations though!
