Cool Dude
Looking for a romantic bungalow style hotel on Phuket.
Does not have to be in the main tourist strip but fairly close.
Any suggestions?

I could recommend Nerntong Resort. Not the fanciest place, but affordable and nice.
I have never stayed there, but I have been there multiple times to use their sauna, which is so relaxing. See my review:

I took a look at their bungalows one time and they were nice. The hotel is about a 5 minute taxi ride from Bangla. It’s also very close to Baan Rim Pa, one of the best places to take a date for a “romantic” dinner.

The only thing that I would be a bit disappointed with is there is no beach view from the hotel. It’s up a little road off of the beach. No big deal though as you can easily walk to the beach.

rooftop bungalows at Baan Lai Mai are very nice/comfortable......Beach Road, Patong

should be about 70 bucks (US) a night and have a great view..and awesome beds..

although, having lived there I will stand by my opinion that Kata Noi is the best place to stay, especially if taking a lady with..
