C&N Hotel is the best value in Patong beach.in the low season room approx 500baht,at high season 800 baht.
clean room,hot water,a/c,Tv,mini bar and very friendly hotel. 100 meters from the legendery Sharck club. very close to all the nightspots.

I agree with u maybe 500 baht low season but high season (december-january-february ) minimum 1000 baht/ night ...for me..
Maybe have u a special discount ?
And Shark Club is still closed..by the way.
But the location is perfect..can't do better
Can't wait !!

I'm taking my 14 y/o daughter to Phuket next April. She wants to go to Phi Phi island to walk were some actor named Lio De' Capraio (s) made a movie. I'll take any excuse to come back to LOS. I need a good hotel/ resort were I can take my kid. I don't want to pay more then 2 to 3k per night. Thanks for the help.

The Thara Patong is great for teens....Big pool, outdoor food/bar, mini mart, Baskin Robbins, and other kids.
Certainly it is guest friendly but the ladies seem to like the kids and all is well. You can get a room by the pool, great stuff...Your back door has private padio and pool entrance!!!! www.tharapatong.com will get you there

I've stayed in the bann-sukhothai last time I was there and it was a very nice place. It's a little older and has a certain original thai charm to it, not like the new concrete resorts. Have a look at the website to get an idea.

ANother fairly new Resort (opened in the past year) is Tony Resort, off Ratthuthit road close to Christins, 1,000 baht includes breakfast for two. In high season for sure it will go up but large rooms, great pool, friendly staff, also I always deal with a travel agent there, if I cannot choose a property, he will drive me around till I find something I like, he gets better discounts than I can bargain for because he is Thai and the people know him, let me pull his card and get you the e-mail and phone numbers.
Thara Patong is a nice place too just a little down the beach from the busy section, but could be a bonus because of your daughter.

Orchid Residence in soi san sabai is a very good hotel. I stayed in a deluxe room, very new and clean and excellent bathrooms. A bit pricey in high season though.

I think one of the best places in Patong to stay and bring a girlfriend is the Family Mansion and Family Mansion 2 ( http://www.patongfamily.com )
Family Mansion is in Soi C&N, closer to the night life is not possible i think and the bar is 24 Hrs open. where do you find that !!!
You can forget 800 Baht at C&N at the high season 1000/1100 Baht is the lowest for the old part of the hotel but they change there prices from day by day and friendly i can't remember that they are.
I stayed last time at Family Mansion and the owner ( Dutch man ) brought my to the airport for free with his private car, is that service or not. Next I stay there again.
