nokna, be assured they want you, they are desperate. But they just don't want your hassle. Do you think that years ago when Phuket started climbing the destination ladder any of those officials was worried about the long term problems of being a prime tourist location. They were just baffled by the idea that they would have money trees instead of rubber and coconut trees.

Patong worst than Pattaya.....Guess they haven't been to Pattaya as of late! Air and Water in Patong is very clean compared to Pattaya and let's not even talk about Bangkok! Sure Soi Bangla is busy at night but try Walking Street for crime or try to use an over pass in Sukhumvit area of BKK....Patong is still alot of fun...
The hotels are not totally full and the bars are hurting. Patong is not over run!
Time to start some planning, right now...Leave the open spaces open. No more hotels and enforece the already established entertainment zones, just to begin with!
