If I remember well the price in low season must be around 1000 - 1100 thb, but if you bring a girl for the night, they will charge you an extra of 300 thb ! and please only stay in the new building.
The best value for me at the moment is Nostra Azzuro, 3 minutes walking from Bangla, run by two italian brothers, one name Gianni close friend of Franco, Flash a gogo owner. 700 thb for a night, for a big room, with air cond, and very nice staff, and superb spaguettis !
Yes, the butterfly hotel is a short time hotel, enter in the back of soi easy, in front Kangaroo bar.

Butterfly Hotel is S/T?,that's a disappointment.
but i seem to remember a sign advertising the place including daily rates.
must have been the price of a S/T room.
don't know much about S/T Hotels,prefer to take the girls to my bungalow,Sansabai is so handy for Bangla.
once visited the one on Seadragon,but never again.
but on my last visit i was surprised to learn my regular Hotel was also a S/T place.
the girl i was with told me she had been there before for S/T.

My daddy! I am still looking for that calling card our friend has given me...! 
As for the Butterfly Hotel I have only seen the stairs leading to it from inside Soi Easy. Once a friend of mine who had a bar in this Soi had to take his drunken TGF there and retired early. Cool for me as I had to take care of his bar and closed it down at 02.00 am. What an experience...!

Daddy, now I have finally found the missing calling card. The name of the place is Baan Boa 2 and it is located in Na Nai Road after the crossing between the police station and the hospital on Sai Nam Yen Road. It was recommended to me by our friend and another guy at the bar. I did not follow this up, but I am sure if you send an email to our friend, he will give you all the details. In fact there are three Baan Boa resorts, but number two was the one recommended to me.

way out of town for me,must be over 5 minutes by motorbike.
very near to where many of my friends lived and i used to spend time around the area during the day.
i know the hospital very well,where i was taken to get my 18 stitches on night.
will stay at one which is in the vicinity of Sansabai

The rooms with direct pool access look really nice.
According to website not gf but if check in with TGF shouldn't be much of a problem.
Someone ever stayed there? Opinions?

Ningning, the Burasari is not girl friendly. However if you're bringing your own Thai girl, by all means stay there. I stayed there with a Bangkok cutie two years ago, and was really impressed with the Burasari. You won't be disappointed!

Conrad Phuket opens in 2007

After a two-year-delay, the Conrad Phuket Resort and Spa is scheduled to open next year. It follows the Conrad Bangkok, which has been open for more than three years. The resort will be its sixth in Asia after Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and Bali.
Conrad Bangkok general manager Gregory Meadows said yesterday the resort would cater to the high-end leisure market, attracting guests from Western and wealthy Asian countries.
The resort on Cape Panwa Bay was set to open last year. Its 107 rooms come in four styles, including villas, each situated on a hillside with an ocean view.
Conrad Phuket is a US$15-million (Bt584.76 million) redevelopment and re-branding of the Panwaburi Resort and Spa, commissioned to Hilton International by its owner, Resort Holdings Co Ltd, in 2003. Hilton International operates the Conrad brand.
Meadows said Conrad Bangkok is the first hotel in Bangkok, even the world, to provide a luxury limousine service to its guests.
Conrad Bangkok is running 95 per cent full and is expected to be 85-per-cent occupied for the entire year, the same as last year. Almost all its guests are businessmen from Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and the US.
The political turmoil has had no effect yet. "There have been no cancellations," Meadows said.
