The "C & N" are the initials of the husband and wife owners named "Choon & Nit". I've known them for at least 13 years back when they had the single story bungalows for 100 Baht a night. Good people, good place !!!

Hi guys this is my first time to write somthing in this nice forum, well about Hotels in Phuket I recomment the Kalimbay Residence its girl's friendly and prices are great specialy if you are visiting phuket between May and Sept.
2 bed Apartment would cost you around 3000bht/night
i've tried it with one of my friends you'll get your own kitchen and the location if ok not that far from main patong streets.
the advantages would be:
1) you have your own apartment so finishing from the Bars/clubs/go-gos at 2:00 does not mean the end of teh night, you can always continue drinking in your balcony at your apartment or have fun in your living room.
2) the managment is very friendly and the furniture is so clean and nice
so this is the best place I can recommend if you are traveling with a friend.
But if you are looking for cheap+nice+close to the beach nothing liek ROYAL PALM near Soi Kep Sap on the beach raod. its well priced around 1300bht/night, good food! and they charge only 300bht/guest at night.

Sorry, do not agree with your recommendation of the Royal Palm. Think that there are better options in that price range. Had on 2 different occasions friends visiting and they both ended up at the Royal Palm. (Taxi drivers seem to get a commission..) They both checked out after the first night. Rooms are nothing special and service not very attentive.
On the other hand, Kalim Bay is a nice place to stay. I specially like the location. A bit out of the busy part of town but you can be there in 5 minutes. And of course, it is closer to the nicest beach of Phuket; Laem Singh. (Still 20 M. drive though)

I`ve been staying at the C+N hotel for the last few years and can say its in the middle of the fun,short walk to Bangla rd and the Beach.
Good staff and GF.
What I paid In Feb 2004 was 800 bht a night mind you I was there for nearly four weeks.
I have booked in for the end of June and I`m paying 500 bht per night.
They also offer a free pick up from the airport,just give them your flight details.
Then you will be good to go hehehehehe.
