A few years back this place was wild in the afternoon.. It had its own agogo and also cheap drinks for gogo girls who would come in the afternoon and get naked round the pool..
20 - 30 wet and up for it gogo girls and ST rooms right there...
Then Jan had to do some time on a decency charge and it has never been back to the glory days.. Jan is still a top guy and its a nice place to go and get an afternoon swim and 'maybe' some notso hotso action mid afternoon.. Staying there ?? The rooms are now in need of a refurb..

I had read about the place on the net before going to Phuket for my first time in LOS in June 2003. It was tempting to go there, but I stayed at the Tropica Bungalows instead, which were fantastic. Nevertheless, I felt a need to go and see this Valhalla place for myself. It was during the time of the SARS outbreak in other parts of Asia and so tourist numbers were decimated, which was incredible good luck for those who went then, as we were in big demand from the hotels, restaurants and the girls!
As already stated, yes, the place was a bit worn around the edges, but I found it fascinating enough to pop in there nightly for a pint or two at the bar before commencing my nocturnal activites in the other bars. The owner, Jan, is just one of those really entertaining men of the world. 'Funky guide to Phuket' relates that he is probably the only Farang to spend time in a Thai jail and put on weight! The authorities do not like him. He actually encourages lots of F/Ls to hang around there and says that guys are forbidden to check in with a farang girl! I don't know whether that's true, but no farang girl would feel comfortable there anyway. As LivinLOS says, when they had the afternoon GoGo and wild pool parties, then it must have Hedonism Central, but those days are over. The authorities watch him like a hawk and are probably itching to lock him away again.

I only used it as a short time pool..... After closing time a dip in the pool was always good, and the bar remained open for drinks. Time changed a lot.
