ultra casual beach type locales
There is a euphemism if I ever saw one. Bless the richness of the English language. I referred to them as:
(...) mentally deranged mongoloids with shorts and plastic slippers
Don’t get me wrong:I have nothing against “ultra casual beachwear”. I wear it as well; on the beach. Not in a club, bar or restaurant. It’s called style. And most “locales” I had the misfortune of encountering that night were completely devoid of it.
Before you condemn Pattaya, you ought to try a 4 day weekend there.
I am not condemning Pattaya, but Patong. What I know about Pattaya is admittedly hearsay:
I heard its even worse then Patong.
I think I will avoid Pattaya purely out of self-defense. I might get bumped if I can’t hold back my laughter in the face of one of these guttersnipes.

We are still waiting for your reivew of Pattaya. After your scorching demolition of Patong, it will be interesting to see if you find distinctions between the two. Make sure you see the gogo beauties. I hear Diamond has the best lookers, but do not limit yourself to one gogo.
Curious what MPs in Bangkok you like..... must be Ellyse, Mirage and Poseiden would be my guess.

My apologies, I havent had the time to go down there yet. Its on my to-do list, together with those stunners from reception.

I am not really a MP kinda guy. Actually, I cant remember the last time I have been to one. To impersonal for me. But that's just me being old-fashioned.

Well, I've been to Phuket's Patong and Bangkok's Patpong.
I love Patong, actually. IMHO, you went to the wrong bars. The best go go is Rock Hard and Playschool. Beer bars are the in-thing at Patong, though. More girls there than go go girls.
It's a more private and relaxed atmosphere in Phuket, which not for everyone. Especially if the focus is on loud entertainment.

Yes, agreed, I think Hypermouth did try the wrong Bars. Times vary as does quality but the Bangla Beer Bars are very good normally as is Rock Hard! IMHO

It must be great to be such a superior being with such a towering intellect, looking down your nose from your ivory tower at all the hapless specimens that you consider to be your inferiors.
Just because in your opinion you have the good fortune to be born higher up the evolutionary scale than them, does not qualify you to be the arbiter of what is considered to be good sartorial taste or to sneer at their behaviour. It seems to me that they are the ones enjoying Sanook on their holidays, whilst you are having an awful time because you can't stand to be amongst them.
So anybody that likes Patong must by definition be one of these Neanderthals too, eh? Well, I like it. But sometimes one comes across those superior snobby types and they get right up my nose.
Let's be blunt about this. You pay to f*** prostitutes, so get down off you high horse. You are there for the same reason as me or them. Or were you there solely for the culture, architecture, culinary experience and the sex was just a diversion, Mr Clit Commander?
