Didn't stay in the villa but I have stayed at Club Bamboo before, its ok, but they completely screwed up my booking and the falang manager, or 'bookings director' as he styles himself, is about as much use as a chocolate chisel.
If you don't mind getting a tuk-tuk out every night for your entertainment I can recommend the Pacific Club in Karon. One of the best hotels for the money I've stayed in in LOS, the only downside being that Karon itself, whilst having a very nice beach, is rubbish. A taxi from the Pacific Club into Patong will cost around 250 baht each way.

Thanks for the info West. I've decided on going slightly medium market range so that I can be closer to the action & not have to worry about joiner's fees. There seems to be a much better selection of hotels in that category around the epicenter.

It's not a problem at all. One day, my TG requested me to bring all of her 4 (adopted) children to the swimming pool as they would love it.
Never had any complained from staff. I don't see any problem bringing TG's to hotel's restaurants or any other facilities since that means more business to them.

I booked the Spa Wing Deluxe rooms like you suggested & the Deevana gave me a very reasonable rate. They even agreed to waive the joiner fee. Thanks for the help broham. Much appreciated.

they just want to make money its so f***ing boring. I hate this security guards in the night time. Same as they have KEY money in Phuket when u rent something never had that in Bangkok. Phuket is like cutting a big hole in your wallet and just make the money trip away. I lived there for 2 years and lost so much money on this shit.

Wasn't too crazy about the Deevana. Rooms were nice but it was difficult communicating w/the English deficient staff, & it was too far away from the action. I'd go w/other options if you're looking for fun in Patong Beach.
