being myself Estonian (if anyone knows where this country is) and of course I am ex-Soviet, if this does matter.
But - Northern Europe is still Northern Europe and meaning of my post was that in this geografical region still all trips to LOS, Phuket are totally sold out.
This means that basically we take this terrorism matter a bit more calm way (however there was problem in Bali and we don't know could something happen also in LOS?).
Once more my apologies if I did wrong thing.

i spent a week in Helsinki in April 92.
got the ferry across to Tallinn and spent 2 days/1 night there.
was entranced by the place.
the old town was magnificent and there were plenty of pretty young ladies sitting around in the hotel bar alnight.

Spent some time in Bosnia and in Hungry. Found a new respect for the Balkin winter....cold as shit. People were friendly, food was great. Could never get tired of the fresh bread and spicy goulasch soup.

Baltic is now sitting in Stockholm (Arlanda) airport and waiting for nightflight to Phuket...
I will post after two days according to original topic, how is status : before Christmas .
Nokna, Tallinn 2002 is ABSOLUTELY different city compared to what You saw 1992.
Sorry to say but...now there is not so much young ladies stting in the hotel bar (I warmly recommend LOS).

Leaving for Phuket with great expectations - it was -15 C at home, there will be +32 C sunny and no rain , I hope so.
