This was an offer to Nokna. It was him I was correcting and offering the rounds, not you. If we ever meet, who knows, I might buy you a drink.
To avoid any misunderstanding. I lived in Patong but at present live in Bangkok. This is not because of prices or because of clean air. If there were no circumstances which were important enough to make a decision to where to live, I would have stayed in Patong. My previous posts were just to clarify that Patong is in general more expensive than Bangkok. Also I indicated that cheap 'anything' can be found everywhere.
Phuket is the most expensive destination for holiday seekers in Thailand, or is anybody not agreeing with this statement...?
Back to the original post heading......
It has been said that Banana Disco will be the only venue, outside the Bangla zoning area, able to stay open until 01.00 AM. This will still include them as a competitor to Tai Pan, Tiger, Dragon and the like. Still, the 01.00 AM closing is said to be strictly enforced as of April 1.
Who does not remember those days when Tai Pan was still small and cozy, opened at midnight and closed when the sun was rising? Wish it was still like that.
But there are still places where one can sit, drink beer, relax and enjoy the beauty of Phuket. Can only recommend Phuket as holiday destination above Pattaya. (Might this be another discussion)
