Hmmm... All I got is a ticket to BKK.. arriving 26 Jan 05. Planning on BKK - Pattaya - Koh Chang - Phuket.. 28 days all in all.
Been many times in patong but always on a organized tour... seems that C&N is a great hotel but I would like to see a pool where I can tan my fat white body.
And then it seems that that I'd have to pay 2000-2500 baht per night to get: GF + Pool + Noth further then Rat-u-thit from the beach. (Expat is bordeline).
Prices from typical internet booking sites.
Damn... C&N with a pool and I would be in heaven!!! Then I'd have everything I am looking for.
Sea Sun Sand has it all, but 1900B/night?? To expensive (add 300B joiner fee)
Any pointers? To bad no one knows a site that lists hotels, location and facilities...

I`m heading over on the 27 Jan to Phuket and I`m staying at C+N hotel,you dont need a pool as its a 5 min walk down to the beach.
The weather is great for the beach at that time of the year,also the walk back from the beach is great as you can stop in a few bars on the way back to the hotel
Stick with the C+N Hotel or another hotel that I found that was good and good rates also walking distance to the beach,Family Mansion 2.

Hotel - distance to beach - GF (y/n) - Joiner fee - pool - inhouse massage - AC/Fan - ratings.....

Patong Pearl Resotel is good. It's on the same street as Soi Seapearl. Five minutes to beach, five minutes to Bangla and the bars but very quiet itself once you get inside. No noise at night. Mid price. Nice clean good sized rooms, very nice pool and patio at the back. No problem with guests; they do ask for ID but are very cool and friendly about it. In fact all the staff are friendly and helpful. Great places to eat all around - try the French steak house a few doors down or the Chinese dim sum place on the other side of the traffic lights. Very cheap car hire shop right next door.
C&N is good too but its prices are really shooting up these days as it's so popular.

I was looking for a hotel to stay in with one or other of the two non BGs that I will be taking to Phuket at the New Year. I will be taking one the first week of Jan and the other the following week. Came across this place and this is actually printed on their room rates page.

No charge on room only for guest (lady joiner) sharing room with alone guests.
Charge of 300.- baht for lady joiner if more than 2 persons per room.

So they only charge for 3 or more in a room. Helpful lot, aren't they? It's the Andaman Hill Hotel, which is only 22 bedrooms, but looks nice enough. It is fairly new and has a swimming pool. It's on the hill behind the Holiday Inn in Patong.
As I am booking in with a Thai girlfriend for the entire week each time, I've gone for the Holiday Village and Natural Garden Resort in Karon for the first week, beginning on 31st Jan and then the Leelawadee Boutique Hotel in Patong the second week. The first hotel costs just 1100 baht a night, even on New Years Eve! The other hotel cost £190 for the whole week which is averaging at 2000 bt a day, which still isn't bad for the time of year. I'll probably hire a car anyway, so distance from the action isn't a factor. Presumably, because I'm actually booking in with the same girl for the entire week, there won't be any trouble with extra costs, which are already covered in the double room rate.
Does any Bro know of either of these Hotels?
