Down to Patong for a few days of diving and the place is dead. Compared to Sept last year less people! Less than April, except Songkron. Last night Bangla was an easy walk and you didn't have to go iknto the street to get by the Lady Boys Dancing on theri Soi! The hotels are laying off and the BGs a very short of money! I'm hoping to get a little of a Hotel Girl who had s hours cut in half! I've been cahtting her up for two years now and finally have a dinner date. Lets see how hungry she reall is!

Patong will run like this till August 2003 for sure. The current occupancy rate at hotels running around at 20-35% from the regular 50-60%. I am sure at this rate you will be able to see more of your date….best luck
