Usually I go by charter to Phuket... and once I ended up at Patong City. Rather OK and a couple of hundred in Joiner fee is OK.. they tolerate that. The other places were 1000 Bath to "join the pool area" 
But I have been looking and i wonder.. what about C&N Hotel or Valalla? There is no pool at C&N but with massage directly in the house.. that's a positive feature. Valhalla has a nice pool area but..
How about the joiner fee attitude?
And last time I saw that there is some ST rooms available on Sawatdirak Rd.. (running parallell to Bangla from the beach to Rat-u-Thit).. IS that a better way???
I haven't brought up the gals to my room for LT 'cause of paying 1000 bath.. nah.. rather shag them 2 hrs at the gogo's or at Christine... for that extra money.
Any recommendations for a few weeks? Most interested in Valhalla. It seems like Penthouse Hotel in Pattaya where a "sex vacation" is "standard"

never stayed at Valhalla or C&N but i would go for C&N.
not much difference in location,but is a bit nearer to the action.
Valhalla got in a lot of trouble last year when they got busted for having 13-15 year old SEA girls available for sex.
posed as hotel employees and were sent to the rooms on the pretext of cleaning the rooms and then the "you nice man,you want boom boom?" came into action.
the girls had had there official papers taken away from them and they were virtual prisoners and forced to do this.
i know the owners fled Patong and i never heard if they were caught.
probably under new management by now,but i would'nt feel safe staying there.
and i did'nt like the Go-Go,but i don't know if it is still open.
1000BT a night is very expensive to me.
there are many sites where hotels advertise and you can get some good bargains at this time of year.

Not sure if you are looking for alternatives - I have not stayed at Valhalla or C&N - If you are then take a look at http://www.orchid-residence.com Stayed there about 12 months ago - under 800 baht for there best rooms - a tiny 16 room hotel - located in Soi Sansabaai about 100m from Bangla and Song Pee Rd intersection. No joiner fees. A pool nearby that you can use and a location that can't be beat.

I stayed in both Orchid Residence as well as their other place, Swiss Garden, across the street. Highly recommended. Ask for no. 4 at the Swiss Garden, 480B. Very guest friendly and a few cute babes working the bar as well.

Well.. I am one of those who can't make his mind up... I am planning a winterIspring trip.. one week in BKK, one in Pattaya and two in Phuket...
But thanx for the tips y'all... I have some time left :lol: before I am off. The website of Valhalla seemed different in the infotexts.. Great that the cops found 'em out... I am prosex but not minors.. prefer 25-30 since they know their business and just don't talk in the mobile while boinking .. seen the 18yo with two or tree mobiles outside No1...

check out http://www.latestays.com many many under 1000Baht....Generally speaking the lower end, less that 2000, baht hotels don't have joiner fee's... I'm sure you can get an e-mail back indicating no fee's right now...
Seems things are getting better so go go go now!

Just got back from Phuket and reccommend the C&N hotel. You just can't beat the location. Rooms are 500 baht and for your average sanuker you can't beat the rooms. I felt as if I was the only one there. Great restaurant directly across the street.. the #6. For 4600 ticket R/T from Bkk on bangkok air with only about 8 people on the plane you can't beat it. I have fallen in love with phuket and will probably discontinue my travels to pattaya. $12 rooms & $3/day scooter rentals it's a sure fire way to have some great times... can't wait to be back!

Orchid Residence has the thumbs up from me.
On my last visit to Phuket, I checked out the C&N Hotel for a comparison and found the rooms were dingy compared to the Orchid, and the price was about the same.
Orchid has nicely renovated rooms with plenty of natural light, great value for money IMHO.
