In august is ok not so hot but i rains almost everyday for about 1 hour its ok then you can have fun in your room in the meantime.
But there is still lot of girls doing the low season

i have visited Phuket during the months of May to September and never found a lot of difference between them really.
some days will be hot,others hotter...somedays it will rain,others it will not.
on my last trip(May) a friend was in town for 5 nights and never rained for the entire time he was there.
when he left,it rained for 4 days during the night.
if it rains i head for the nearest bar and a couple of times i met a little cutie who was good enough to BF after the rain stopped.
yhere is much info about Hotels in Patong in the Phuket section of the Forum and Rezyek has started the ball rolling with his links.
i always stay here,would'nt dream of staying anywhere else.

I'm also off to phuket, the 15th to the 25th with a friend to bang and dive.
Last year I stayed at the Family Inn (dont get confused about the name), VERY guest friendly, no fees. This year I pay 6400THB for 12 days inc breakfast and transfer.

Why dont you get out to choose girls? So U know what U get? Dont know any hotels that bring girls to the room for U. Massage girls - OK but the often ugly and poor or none service..
It only rain'nd one (1) day in 10 days aug last year so the weather can be realy nice.
I pass the crowd question to anyone been there recently.

Suppose to be there about now!!!! But due to a few delays will be there next week and give you a rundown then. As the bro's in the Forum say, its pretty unpredictable at this time of year, but I think a better chance of being good than bad. Rain in 30+ C isn't really a problem, sometimes it can be a relief! The only problem is the Water for diving (not so clear) but NO problems with Muff Diving!

Family Inn rocks!!
Great service and staff and I love the pool especially if you (as me) have a room at first floor 2meters from the pool.
Hey Oz, send me an PM, maybe we can meet-up next week? Hope you're wrong about the diving, I'm gonna do so much diving I can. Aug last year was ok, out at Racha island 30meters clear sight.

yes room nr 102-104-106 is the best i allways stay i one off those room„s, only one thing is bad when you come home at night, they are not so happy when you start to swim, did that one time when i was really drunk lol
