I just got back from Phuket two days ago. I had a great time there. I didn't run into anyone from this Fourm at the U2 bar at the times we were suppose to meet but my buddy and I banged so many women. Sorry that we dident show up in U2, we where sooooo busy.. 
I think I know who you meen in English Bar..
Well, We also did a few Soi eric. My favourite was from there - had her looong time. Others where picked up all around. Go-go bars are not as good as in BKK. We prefered BeerBars and discos in patong.
The most good looking was a very fresh little one at Micky mouse bar (the soi above soi eric).
Best f_ck was really one in BKK, A GG-bar in NanaPlaza. She was a waitress but I managed to BF her anyway...Coool..!
The days was all barflying and almost always ended at Safari Disco 6AM after TaiPan closed at 2-3AM.
Nokna, Danny was in Ireland or something, Paul was in charge meanwhile.
Armani - I know what U mean about orign, we are from Sweden and the gilrs went wooow about that to.
Summary Phuket august 2003:
Phuket was not so busy as last year in august and the girls was not so many as then, but what the hell it was enough for me anyway. Prices about the same so no lowprices for the very low season.
The knewly opened Star Wars disco was ok but the best was really TaiPan and a have todo is Safari disco after 2AM.
A word about the Tuk-tuk in patong - Try to NOT USE THEM, prices are crazy high, up to 200bath for a short trip. For that amount we had a private aircon Taxi for five hours in BKK.
Also when in Phuket try to make a trip to koh Phi Phi, its so beautiful. Go there for 1-2 nights (bring a TG with you, only a few girls there). Rent a longtailboat (6-900 4hours) and go to Maya beach (from Beach the movie) and around that island for snorkeling and relax.
For Scubadiving use divetheworldthailand.com or marinedivers in karon.
Hotels are cheap now, down to 300bath for a lowstandard hotel.
Will try to wright a FR soon.

i suspect Danny was visiting his family in Bristol,England.
he has to do the visa run and normally heads home when he has to renew the visa.
i have only used a tuk tuk twice in Patong and no problem.
took one from Phuket Zoo back to Patong(4 of us)and it cost 50 Baht each for a 20 minute journey.
other time me and 4 girls travelling 3-4 minutes to my hotel and cost was 70 Baht.
if you are with a girl,she will negotiate with the driver and if they play up,just walk away.
they will soon change their their mind when you say i go go elsewhere.

Having pulled a full tour in Aug myself I will agree that there was a shortage of girls...at my count I would have to live about 200 more years to invade the small percentage of units I find suitable....Shite boys....
The place had a very good bootie count and very light on the falang....Reminded me of Nov and Dec 2001....
The street side swill stands had a few darlings hanging on the Queens B-Day....There was more that one off the street bar selling beverages, same same as low lights after 2am.
I was waiting for a Darling from my "X-favorite" bar to show up in the hotel lobby for a afternoon sanuk and
off for a session at Two Black Sheep. Pub Grub and real Victoria Bitter being on the menu. Not the shite VB sold by 7/11. With the big push on fake goods 7/11 ought to be out of business!
