My first trip (won it in a travel agency thing) so I'm going somewhere, Patong, I never knew exsisted! Thanks to the internet I can have some idea about entering a very different environment. Blah Blah etc etc.
I learned about the massage places in Bangkok and would like to try it but I have the time only in Patong. Is there such a place and what should I expect in terms of costs and service? I've never been to an erotic massage
and frankly there isn't one within about 100 miles from my home in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mts, Nevada City is the nearest town. ( Actually Washington is the nearst town but I doubt anybody would know of that town). Any info on Erotic Massage and night life in general would be greatly received.

I've been to my share of Soapy Parlors in Thailand and elsewhere!
Its Christins Massage. About a 5 min walk south on 2nd road from Soi Bangla, you can't miss the place it has a huge lavender sign.. You go up stairs to be greeted by a large glass window with 20- 40 girls seated in nice dresses. Take your time and don't be afraid to ask the Papasans about any special requests. You can have a double bu paying for two girls.
There will be a left and right side with different prices 1800 or 2000 Baht, as of August this year.
After you make your selction you go up the elevator to a room. Big bed and bath area. I've been in a few fancier rooms and many not nearly as good. But the reception you get depends on how you act too :D

christines has some nice girls. However be aware, that it's one of the most expensive massage parlors in Thailand. I have been there last week and can update you on prices and times.
They have 3 categories of girls 1.800, 2.300 and 2.500 baht. For this price you get 1 h 15 minutes with the lady. I bargained hard, but only when i threatened to leave they gave me a 2.500 girl for 2.300 'only'. No extension of the time limit was possible. Remember in Bkk you pay about 1.500 - 2.000 baht for 2 hours in most places. In Hat Yai you'll get a girl for 24 hours for the same money.
Patong is a tourist place and this is reflected in the prices.
You may also try Grand Plaza Massage in Phuket Town (just opposite Robinson), or the massage in Pearl Hotel. Both places are cheaper, but check the quality of girls first. At my last visit there where one or two stunners at each place even prettier than at Christines. This time the looks weren't nearly as good and I left without scoring.

I was unaware about the three price levels, something I have missed. I hope the fellow heading in for his first on catches this post. Pete, the stunners and young tarts are no always the way to go as something that will work a little harder is a better deal. I went back to the same one a couple times and have left spouting only one round from total stunners. And ask the Papasan about your wishes, they be honest as to the facts. Oh... I am not complaining about the prices! Getting some "illegal a$$" here up in northern europe is about 200-300 euro per 60 min. That's right... It's illegal to buy sex here. ( and for you americans, that means 250-350 USD) Ok, you can always get an junkie of the street for 100 euro but who would like that?
