Whats up to everyone on the board, I have been checking this board for about 4 months now and have gained lots of usefull information over that time.
My first trip to Phuket was in August of this year and I had the time of my life. Stayed at the Thara Patong which is an awesome hotel and very girl friendly as mentioned before. My one piece of advice would be to make sure that you get one of the rooms in the New Wing because they are much nicer and up to date.
During my stay in Patong I spent most of my nights partying at the discos. My top three spots during my stay were-Bannanas, VIPS, and Safari. Bannanas was usually the first stop everynight around 11 or so when things start to pick up. This place was usually packed everynight with girls and also played a good selection of music and had a nice long hip hop set that would usually start around 1. The only problem with this place is that they close exactly at 2 and turn on the lights to make sure that everyone leaves.
The next stop was on most nights was VIPS which is next door to Tai pan on the end of Bangla road. VIPS during the early evening is a pretty quiet bar but after 2 when everything starts to close down VIPS is just beggining to heat up. This place really takes off around 2:30 and is a great place to meet and dance with all the girls that just got off work from the gogos and also the free lancers. VIPS usually closed around 3 or 3:30 and from then on there was only one more place to party.
If I was still up for it my last stop of the night was always safari. I am still not exactly sure where this place is because I was usally drunk by the time I went, but if you hop in any baht bus they will know the place. Safari is an open air bar/club/disco thing and is open to the early hours of the morning. Safaris is a good place to go to chill and listen to some music, (they also have a good selection of hip-hop).
I had a great time in Phuket and I will be returning in December. In speaking with some of the girls last time they told me that the high season in Phuket is just crazy and tons of fun． I am actually in the process of looking for a hotel now, and my first choice is C & N resort, this is not the C&N hotel, but their sister resort. I was wondering if anyone has stayed here before, and if so can you tell me how it was? I have heard rumors of this resort being an absolute party place with the younger crowd and I was hoping that somepne might confirm this for me.
