the game was played with much yelling from all the Girls,but England prevailed to win 1-0 and I turned to Bud and held my hand out.....
she looked at me in amazement and asked if I really wanted the money?,would I really take 500 off her?
oh yes I told her,she had made the bet and she would certainly have taken it from me if her team had won.
she handed over the 500 and I took it with no shame or guilt as I knew she was a very popular Girl and had quite a bit of money.
the only thing which might have spoilt the evening was a drunk Englishman yelling insults towards Bud because of her shirt and I was getting annoyed (and drunk) and I was going to confront him.
but no problems as Danny’s Wife finally laid down the law and the Guy was removed from the Bar after the Police had been called.
after the game Bud left to go home and get ready for a night on the prowl and I gave her the 20 for the Motorbike back to her room.
Nok and I wandered around for a while,but I was having a buzz after the Football and wanted a night on the piss and told Nok she could go home,i wanted a night alone in the Bars.
she was distraught and crying and almost begging me to stay with her for the night,but the drink had got hold of me and I got very cranky and refused and told her to go.
i put her on a motorbike and waved her off and then hit the Bars.
then it all went wrong and the night was to end up very badly for me......

Growing up on an island myself, a haole boy, I always found it amazing how so many locals don't go to the beach, and many not even knowing how to swim. I guess it's not a priority for most.
