Jurgen Schrempf, a tourist from Stutgart Germany, who has taken up
residence here in Phuket town, walked into Girls a Go-Go with a hand
gernade threatening everyone in the building. The massage parlour was
immediately evacuated with clients and their concubines being forced
out into the streets with nothing more than a towel around them.
Schrempf, who is sufferring from full blown Aids, made the statement
that he is "holding the prostitution establishments responsible" for
his condition. Security quickly disarmed Schrempf and the police
arrived soon after to take him into custody. Schrempf has stated that
unless he is "locked up for life" he is going to "take out an
entertainment establishment and all of the dirty little whores who
work there." Schrempf is no stranger to Phuket police. He has been in
custody on numerous occassions ranging from indecent liberties with a
minor, indecent exposure, public drunkeness, fleeing from the scene of
an accident, possession and distribution of pornography, and
masturbating in public. He is expected to appear before a magistrate
early next week.

It was probably one of those cigarette lighters made up to look like a hand grenade.
Reminds me of a guy who contracted AIDS in Oakland, California, happened about 12 years ago. He wanted to seek revenge against women by having unprotected sex with as many as he could manage, while knowing he had AIDS. The DA successfully prosecuted him for 'assult with a deadly weapon' (i.e. his penis)
