I'll stay one night in Phuket 18 of this month,never been there,however have someone to "visit",she stays in Kata(??) Can someone recommend nice but cheap(not more than 500 bath)hotel to stay?

Nice site Nokna,but "stupid tourist farang" oriented..
600 bath for fan room it's unacceptable IMHO.
Anyway 10x for information,maybe I should ask the girl to find something for me,she's local and she'll do it without get overcharged.

i must admit i have rarely seen prices on this site.
but never had to use it at all,always stayed at the same place and now it is closed i know of other places to sleep for the night.
Patong is cheap,maybe Kara is considered more up market?.
on my last visit i paid 750 for a bedroom,toilet/bathroom,lounge and kitchen with a fantastic fan and A/C set up.
why not stay in Patong and travel to Kata?
10-15 minutes by tuk-tuk or motorbike for around 300-400 baht.
