After three nights and four days in Phuket, I'm back in BKK. I spent all of my time in Ao Patong. Here's some highlights: The first night, I got incredibly drunk at a bar called "Bachelor" near Flash-a-go-go. Flash-a-go-go has a central stage and the women were nice, but nothing special. The reason why I got incredibly drunk at Bachelor was because the girls got me to play all the bar games (connect four, dice game, etc.) and everytime someone one, they would get a drink. So I win, the girls buy me a drink and vice versa. I've never spent that much at a bar before (on single drinks), but one of the girls was kind enough to direct me to my hotel instead of letting me pass out on the street. I actually ended up going out and finding someone before going back to the hotel...no details needed, but that was one of the best nights of sex...she couldn't get enough...whew! The following night was similar... However, the third night on Oct 12...everything closed down at 1am!!! Ahh!!! Looks like the petition didn't go through. If you like Hip-Hop, Dragon Disco was pretty good. Banana Disco was techo. Same with Tai Pan. Star World is closed. I had two oil massages while in Phuket. Neither ended in a happy finish surprising (though one girl asked if I wanted to go up to the extra room for FS as I was about to leave). Where did other members find their oily fun? I did some searching for hotels while I was there. Here's some info for the budget minded: I stayed at C+N hotel for one night. The price was 700 baht. I think I received a 100 baht discount for walking off the street (another guy checking out had 800 baht written down). PS Hotel asked for 700 baht, but was willing to negotiate to 550 baht if I stayed two nights since it was the low season. On the sois directly to the left and right of Soi C+N, I found places ranging from 400-600 baht a nice. I think Charlie's place was 450, but 400 if you stayed two nights. The more you move back in the soi, the cheaper it gets. I eventually chose Touch Villa (450/night - AC, big bed, fridge - but no mini-bar, TV) as it was the cheapest. Be warned, however, that they don't check IDs though they do have a security box at the front desk. Touch Villa is right behind C+N Hotel. C+N Hotel: (+66) 0 7634 1892-3, (+66) 0 7634 0475 http://www.cnhotelpatong.com P.S. Hotel: (00-66) 076-340184, 341096 http://www.pshotel.com Touch Villa: (66-76) 344011, 294031, 345142 touchvilla@hotmail.com I know this is free advertising for the hotels, but I figure the footwork shouldn't go to waste. The location for all these hotels is right near Soi Bangla, where all the action is (but far enough away so you don't hear the music). Hope this helps someone...
