I will be visiting Phuket next month and staying at the Bay Hotel at Cape Panwa. Has anyone stayed here before? Any thoughts on how nice the place is? Is it close to the action?
Congratulations, You'll be staying close to nowhere, on a tongue of land in Southeast Phuket, next to their beautiful aquarium. I believe that Cape Pawna is a beautiful place close to the oil depots and outer port of Phuket. If you look for the kind of beauties that this forum use to tell us about, you'll better go to Phuket Town by night, about 10 km away. Patong is too far away unless you rent a car. Maybe the hotel have som transportation available. The action that is closest to you will be offered by girls serving on the lanes on Poonpol road. But turists use to choose more classy places so I will recommend Grand Plaza MP or some Pink Lady site in Phuket town. Good luck!
