Looking for a comfortable but fairly cheap beach bunglow type accomodation near the action in Patong.

Patong bungalows tend to be pricey and u won't find many on the beach side of the road. You'd be looking at paying approx 2500b per nite which in my opinion is poor value when you can get a decent clean room 1 block from the beach for just 1000b !

Many contributors ahve taken the time to post great info for all our benefit so I guess using the search facility ain't gonna be too taxing on you !
However, for a recommendation, I have just checked into C&N and can tell you that I AM NOT IMPRESSED.
The room is adequate though can't get espn on the telly, the view I have is of the carpark and a row of cheap apartments and the bathroom floods everytime I have a shower.

Basically they are an internet cafe that has 3 rooms above available for just 1200b per nite. Great looking rooms, absolutely huge ! Only drawback is that they are currently fully booked till end Nov so u must book early. No hotel facilities but you do get 24 hr free asdl internet access in the room, room is serviced daily, great location and plenty of bars & cafes within a stones throw. def' a viable alternative t shitty patong hotels !!!!
