Figure since I'm about to make my next field trip, I should report on the last two.
July - Night one of two
Booked Sunset Beach Resort (phuket.com/sunset). They gave me a free ride from the airport. I asked for my seaview - and was upgraded to pool-view suite. Hmmm... wanted a view... I later realized that the hotel doesn't have a seaview unless you are sitting in the lobby. The room was nice at least - big bed, seperate living room with a very comfy couch.
I was a bit concerned about the joiner until I met the bellhop. His first question was "do you have a thai girl friend". Of course the answer was "not yet!"  I grabbed the free ride over to Bangla. Whooo ahh, that area is busy, messy and exactly what I expected. I started with a walk up Bangla just to see where things are. Rock Hard was first on my list, as I didn't expect to be pulling from there. Sure enough, the talent was less than what I'd want. I had a nice chat with a somewhat older bg there who kept offering me 2000 Baht for my hair!
I wandered into the ground floor area of Soi Easy. Now, I've been to NEP and Samui, but I still wasn't prepared for this. The density of girls, the loud music, and low lighting had me blinking around like a teenager :eyecrazy: I shoke out my head and walked in trying to give my best impression of someone who knows where he is goind (while still taking in as much scenary as possible). I spotted a great little mini-dress on the other side and headed that way, just as an entire bar poured out to block my path. Eventually I arrived at the mini-dress - we'll call her MiniDressBuddhaGirl (MDBG). I'd say she was a typical Issan girl, though on the cutish side - great skin, nice body, pleasant, decent face. Bar games, a few drinks, getting cozy with eachother ensued. One of the others mentions that MDBG wants to go to Buddha the next day. Well that worked for me - what better way to tourist a Wat than with a devotee? We drink a little more, pay bf and head off. She wants to go see friends at her old bar in Soi SeaPearl.
We end up at the central open bar in SeaPearl. The staff there was nice and happy to see MDBG. Played more games with the SeaPearl staff, shared a bell-ring with the manager (only one other falang in the bar). At some point we ordered food - but where it was cooked and how they got the message was invisible to me. Eventually we headed back to the room. Then the GFE was not so good - a real flop in bed. Not the worst starfish I've had, but not much enthusiasm.
In the morning we got up early, found a moto-taxi and headed up to her apartment. Now that was a learning experience - 4th floor (no elevator, and her in heels), one room smaller about the size of the hotel bedroom, little bathroom and small balcony, a drying rack full of clothes, a pile of about a dozen shoes mostly high heels, a tiny vanity with mirror and chair, one queen-size bed, everything else was white wall or white tile. Her roommate had been asleep in the bed, and chatted with me a little while MDBG changed into jeans, sneakers, and a normal top. We went back down and met her 2nd roommate who was also going to see Buddha. I don't think I'll ever forget seeing that room - what a powerful reminder of how good I have it, seeing 3 girls sharing one bed in a tiny room (though it might have been nice to share the bed with them!).
After 30 Baht breakfast we got some fruits and headed for the bus stop. We waited about 30minutes in front of the Patong Hospital until a big white bus shows up and a dozen thai women + one falang (me) get on. Bus heads south, picks up a few people here and there then starts heading up a hill... a big hill... becoming less well paved... ruts in the dirt road... bus rocking... trying to eject all passangers as it tilts from one side to the other... somehow everyone stays inside and we arrive at a shed and a huge buddha under construction. Anyone know where this is? I can't figure out where it should be - big statue under construction, top of a hill, view of several bays both east and west, including Chalong (I think). That was the first time I've ever given food to the monks, but MDBG walked me through it gently. Once all laid out, each monk had a table overflowing with food. The leftovers became pot-luck for the rest of us. I must say, that was the best thai meal I've ever had.
Eventually we're heading back with one middle-aged woman bitching about falang-this and falang-that while doing imatations of someone very haughty, clearly having forgotten me - she had the rich white tourist down to a tee. In fact, only MDBG (being very cuddly) seemed to remember there was a falang in the bus as they all nodded in agreement to bitching-lady! After a while the whole scene was just too much.... I burst into laughter. Sitting there having been forgotten while they bitched about mean-spirited tourists was too funny (got to admit I've seen plenty). Of course then they noticed me, blushed a bit, but noticed I was laughing and all was good.
Back in Patong I'm starting to think I need to rid myself of MDBG but she's not taking any hints. She picks out some lychee for me (never see it fresh in the states, so I partake here) and ends up back in the room. I tell her I want to sleep alone... so she naps on the couch, then comes back to the bed. Eventually I'm done with it and tell her directly it's time for her to go, and give her a nice sum (she was a good guide and nice gfe even if the sex was lousy).

Find some of the smaller BB's around there....girls come and go and will gladly call more sisters to come visit if they like you enough.
GoGos anywhere can be a hustle. Just go shopping elsewhere and be patient and dont over drink... If anything let them loosin up with drinks.... you can get 2 sisters to stay with you they like that. You'll get good straight sex with many rounds if your a good lesbian back. BG's hate sleeping alone.

ParadiseSeeker - know what you mean about room size.
Did the sisters thing once in Phuket and the following morning they took me to their 'house' - down a never-ending dirt track to get to a house with a single room - just big enough for a single bed (shared) a sink, some kind of shower attachment which must have soaked the bed every time if was used. Mosquitos everywhere cos - from memory - no glass in the windows.
Sh*t.
Bought them a KFC at Lotus and some shower gel (for that is what they wanted)..and left with same 'powerful remider' as ParadiseSeeker.
I think about this on every repeat visit and haven't been back to 'home' since.

I love how they can order food from thin air.
I was in Pattaya with a bg getting a bite at her apartment which was shared with 3 or 4 other bgs. The food kept arriving and I was mystified. It turns out that there was a restaurant right across from the kitchen window. The place did not even seem like a restaurant, more like someone's kitchen. It was only take out. Anyways, the girls would signal out their window and next thing a bag of hot snails in water with greens would arrive. They were not very good.

wingman - saw another place today, shared house with common eating area (w/ TV even) and then 3 bedrooms. I couldn't tell if the beds where shared or not as no one else was there. The bathroom had a very strange pool/bath thing which would have been gross, except for the continuous stream of water keeping it clean. A lot more space than the one described in this FR, but seemed dirtier - or at least less finished.
herodotis - yeah, I can imagine that scene.
now I've got 40 minutes to kill before brokering either a switch or a 3some. I was sitting with the 2 hottest girls in Soi Eric (imo) last night and now that I had one, I want the other. Only issue is they work the same bar, so I need to make sure #1 is ok with me taking #2 or else #2 won't go! sheesh, politics :D
