Plan on visit to phuket next year. Need the current prices for ST and LT (so as to not overpay and drive prices up and also keep from being taken). Also recommendations on best pick up places for cuties for both bars, go-go and places for freelancers. No info will be refused since will be 1st time there. Thanks all.

to some extent it depends on how old you are and what you look like
(and how drunk and desperate you may appear) .
I've found the standard to be 1000 ST, 1500 LT.
I like Soi Eric and Soi Sea Dragon for the bgs. I really haven't picked up any freelancers in HKT, but I would suggest maybe Tiger or Banana for that. A lot of bgs go there after they get off work. Not too many go-gos in Phuket. The ones I have entered are fairly lame.
Bg heaven though...

I found myself stuffing something like 2KB in the purse the morning after a LT. Phuket ain't Pattaya, so I don't think 1KB would be quite as appreciated. If you are really price consious, then maybe Phuket is not the best place for you.
I know some folks probably think I'm killing some arbitrary rate they're trying to preserve, but f*** 'em. I've got the cash and I don't sweat it. If you want a bargin, make your move toward the end of the night and be prepared to haggle. There's plenty for all of us.
Also, unless you are visiting really early in 2005, advice about which place has the best girls will have changed several times before you arrive. Just get out of your hotel and spend some time scoping out the area. What could be more entertaining than tracking down your own girl? It's more fun if you play it like a game, instead of work it like job. Besides most of the bars are all in the same area and easy to navigate. Nothing to be afraid of.

The only time I negotiated price in phuket was when my agf and I took a bg for st.
Like PopSecret, I give 2k for real good service - either great sex or good fun day after or both. Otherwise I'd give 1.5 and I'm sure that would be plenty fine.
Soi Eric is my favorite. Soi Easy is bg overload (which can be fun). SeaDragon gets a lot of good reviews, but the setting is not 'upmarket' enough for me. I've been to Tiger disco many times - lots of freelancers, though I brought a girl with every time. Soi SeaPearl seems a bit quieter. There is also a soi across from Salathai hotel, which seemed to have plenty of girls. For go-gos I've been to Rock Hard and PlaySkool; both dull.

Picked up a real cutie my last night in Phuket. Paid 200 BF and gave the girl 1000 baht for LT. This was the rate suggested by the owner of that particular bar. As I walked her to the motorbike taxi the next morning gave her an extra 200 baht for a great night. She emails me every day and SMS me back in the states so I guess it was adequate. Can't wait to see her again in Feb.
Hope that helps. I was "not" impressed with the gogo bars in Phuket. Pick up one of the bargirls or simply go to a disco for a FL. I also picked up some numbers at the shopping center but never followed through with that angle.

seems to be a big range of prices for LT. which place did U go for TG for 1000,? everyone else seems to suggest double that price for LT=2000. (also would the TG be hotties at 2000 and plain jane/desperate at 1000?-just a thought.
Actually guys, I also plan to go onto pattayajust for the chics of course), but heard the water/beach were polluted there. Since I like the beaches, I figured why not spend some quality time at PHuket, U know--sun/water during day and drinks and chics at nite. thanks all for your input, keep it cumming.

They have cleaned up the beaches and water a lot in the last couple of years, if you go about 1KM south of Jomtien the water is very nice there. As you go further south you will get a smaller parade of vendors trying to get your $$$.

While I will never claim to be an expert on Thailand matters regardless of what my avatar may claim I am certainly not a virgin. With my 4th trip fast apporaching I expect and indeed look forward to learning a few more lessons. IMHO that is part of the fun. I understand that this is a possibility but there has been no indication that she is looking for money. I promise you that if she does ask for money I will walk away and right to the bar to buy you a beer. I am expecting it but for some reason think that I will be surprised. The messages and emails have been going on for 4 months with no mention of funds. There are 10 or so girls I still keep in touch with beginning in '03 and not one of them has ever asked me for money nor have I sent any. So, bottom line. I'll take your beer bet and will be happy to hoist one or two rounds with you! I'll just be happy to have a Singhai with a BTF brother and be back in LOS.

I'm not sure the place had a name. Just a bar very near Ocean Center. ( I think thats the name). I walked by the night before to meet someone else and she caught my eye and I smiled and waved and kept on walking. The next night she was sitting a bit back and I walked by all the other girls straight to her table with another smile.
