I will be at Phuket for a week in July. Wondering which is the better choice in terms of a) girl friendliness b) hotel facilities c) nearest to beach and d) nearest to entertainment scene (Soi Bangla) Was offered 1095 baht per night for the bungalow at Pearl and 1300 baht for the junior suite at Tropicana. Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks

Looking at the hotel's website seems like Phuket Grand Tropicana offered better facilities.Before I book the hotel, does anyone knows whether this hotel is girl friendly or if need to pay a joiner fee, how much would it be?

Yes they do have a joiner fee, just got a email back for them saying its 800 pr guest, to bad couse they have a good deal right now

Okay I am back from Phuket and have an enjoyable time. Weather was perfect though was quite hot in the day. The bar scene was a little quiet and the selection of girls not so good, mostly dark skinned ladies.I preferred girls who are fairer. LT cost 1000baht.Stayed at Patong Pearl Resortel.Didn't take the bungalow as the bath room was really small - standing room space only. The superior room is better and the room is comfortable and clean. Hotel is girl friendly and the female night receptionist even ask if I want any girl when she saw me came back alone on one of the nights. For those interested in golf, you can book at Harry's restaurant at Beach road for 2500 baht (inclusive of transfer,green fee and caddy fee). Play at Phuket country club and Loch Palm.Beautiful courses.
