Hi Brothers,
spent 2 weeks in Karon Beach including Christmas and New Year.
Seems to be that number of foreigners is definitely decreased compared to previous years.
In my hotel mainly Swedes (some Finnish people also) and surprisingly some Russians as well.
Not so many tourist from English speaking countries...
As I'm back in home already for 2 weeks - how it is in Phuket now?

I heard there are more families visiting and because of the slim pickings some of the girls have moved to Pattaya. Personally I think the tourism is down a bit.
Phuket allegedly is getting more expensive.
I suppose the Rock Hard still rocks ???

i know upstair's was Smokin Joes Roadhouse,but was always known as RH by the locals.
i only call it that for ease.
but it's closed?
my favourite go-go,with the best girls IMHO.
would normally start the evening fun in there.
i had many fun times in there and a few good women.
rang the bell there on every trip.
and the old owners became friends.
Patong won't be the same without it.

Rock Hard is closing...No Doubt...I know a few of the girls
and they are making no money....I use to like to catch a bit of Farang Food at the Outside bar and enjoy the stree show! What a shame...Great T shirts for a good price!
