I have stayed at the Expat on several occasions, it is girlfriendly and the staff is friendly. The hotel is in a relaxing setting despite its central location and I liked the coffeeshop which is open 24 hrs. When I booked in advance by email they have always sent me a confirmation and never asked for payment in advance or a deposit.

http://www.latestays.com will get your to many hotels with good prices.....
Also, the cab driver from the airport will get you a good deal....I don't use that system becuase I'm a regular and have a certain room reserved with a very good price.
