Hi guys, I'm looking for some help from brothers familiar with the Phuket scene.
I am taking an associate to Phuket later this week and need up to date recommendations for up-market clubs / bars. Are there any places in Phuket (Town or Patong) that are similar to Bangkok G-Clubs or Soi 33 type bars? A high-end Karaoke with hostesses would also be okay.

Hi root rat,
Nothing up class in Patong, except christin massage parlour, and for somebody who loves rock music, kangaroo bar near the beach in Bangla, owned by Odd, the prince of bangla.
But in Phuket town :
- there are two good music live place with many ladies : timber hut, and jamming ( don't come too late, it could be overcrowded )
- some high class karaoke with hostesses like pink chamois, and 2002 pink, and others pink places.

but i know nothing of Phuket Town.
and i see Loupilou is still championing Kangaroo Bar and Odd.

are the 3 girls still working behind the bar until 6p.m.?

Thanks guys, that's what I was kind of expecting. I am pretty familiar with Bangla and Patong and I hadn't heard of or seen any high-end places in that area.
Pink Chamois and other Pink's in Phuket Town may be the best options for this occasion.

Dear Nokna,
First, yes I love Kangaroo Bar and those three funny ladies there until 6 pm.
I liked to be able to choose my own music there, and be honest Nokna, aren't the night bartenders and cashier sexy ? hum !
Second, I like Odd, who I gave the surname of "Prince of Bangla", he is a smart guy, correct, open minded, and I have been involved with him in his business.
But, now I live in Bangkok.

to be honest i never visited the place during the night.
i have vague memories of the shift changing over and the night staff.
never really a fan of the Bangla bars when darkness fell,prefer the Go-Go's.
but Kangaroo and another bar in Soi Seadragon were my daytime haunts.

FR: Up-market alternatives in Phuket.
We started the evening at Christins MP but the selection was very poor (7.30 p.m.) so we decided to head into Phuket Town and check out the G-Clubs.
We asked our driver to go to Pink Chamois, but on the way he suggested we might like to try Pink Lady first. The ground floor of Pink Lady has a small stage a singer and some sofas that were already occupied by some Japanese lads and their hostesses. We went straight up to the second floor and settled on a sofa facing a long bar that stretched most of the length of the room. Behind the bar there were about 30 cuties in evening dress. The selection was pretty good and I quickly spotted my flavour for the evening. My associate (actually a very important Thai customer of mine) seemed indecisive so I broke the ice by asking mama to bring my girl over first. He couldn't make up his mind so he asked for a couple of cuties to come over. Mama quoted a price of Baht 5K all night take out fee per girl or Baht 200 per hour for the girl to sit and talk and an alternative offer based on the number of drinks and/or some sort of membership deal - not quite sure of the details. We then went up to the third floor to the Karaoke rooms.
My customer didn't seem overly happy with his selection and it was no surprise when he suggested we check out Pink Chamois. I was happy with my cutie but did not want to take her to the other club just in case something else caught my eye. I asked her to wait for me and she agreed.
Pink Chamois (same owner as the other 'Pink' clubs) was slightly better décor than Pink Lady but still not as good as Bangkok G-Clubs. The overall selection of cuties at Pink Chamois was better and my customer spotted his choice, paid the all night fee and we headed back to Pink Lady. Many of the girls say that they are university students from Bangkok and come to Phuket Friday and Saturday to earn extra pocket money (this may be true for a few but I reckon this is probably just a story to please the predominantly Thai and Japanese clientele).
My cutie was waiting when we returned and fortunately she got on really well with my customers' girl from the other club. We left about 1 a.m. and headed back to Patong. I don't know the total cost at Pink Lady as my customer insisted on paying. Service was average, bbbj, no anal but 8 to 9 for looks and body. Tip, Baht 2,500 plus Baht 500 for a taxi to take her back to Phuket Town.
