there's this place called M.a.O. at Camp Davis, Sukhumwit 24 across the street from Au Bon Pain
the owners said it stands for Modeling Audition Operation. yeah.. right... i just call it 'mao' (Thai for 'drunk')
i was there last week. it was so packed there was almost no room to move. pretty cool place to check out. lots of young crowds - college kids, young professionals. awesome place to see and to be seen. i bet they have some kind of special event for halloween. it's not the type of place you'd find 'working girls', though. but if you enjoy drinking, dancing, and people watching, you wont be disappointed.

No shortage, I was in Q bar last night where the were promoting one, however as the ratio was about 70% guys to 30% TGs, probably not a good hangout - although my TGs sister was impressed !!! [ and soon swept up i may add ] - myself im going to Dance fever, but I always have a goodtime there anyway, it rocks, but really is better to go there with some TGs, and perhaps pick up the odd phone number of anyone nearby who catches your eye !

^ Camp Davis rocks (at least for now). I actually ran into Khun Davis (big guy with long hair, looks a bit like Carabao the luk tung singer) himself there the other day. Quite the entrepreneur. Doesn't spare an expense in decorating his clubs and now hotels.
Everyday is a party in Bangkok... so I don't think anywhere in particular will be more fun than anywhere else.

let me clarify that the place i'm talking about is "M.A.O.", which is inside Camp Davis. there are Starbucks and a few other bars and restaurants inside camp davis also.
normally, there's no entrance fee at M.a.o. but since it's halloween night, I'm not sure. they play dance music, top 40, and some techno. they might have a live band playing also.
as far as the price, i think a small bottle of heineken is less than a hundred baht. johnie walker one, voBKa cruiser, E.I., and the likes are 120-150 apiece if i'm not mistaken. a bottle of black label is 1200 baht, give or take.. you be the judge
Camp davis is located almost at the end of soi 24 coming from sukhumvit side. it's on the left side, you have to drive past the forte and lot 24. camp davis is two minutes after that. Look for starbucks sign. hard to miss. across the street is the President Suite condo, i think.
