How many of you unlucky people have fallen in love with a gogo girl? I should have believed my friends, I should have known better. Hell, I do know better. They were right, every single one of them, but I’m so sure she’s a good girl with a good heart that I got so sucked in, I’ve freaking lost my mind. Lost many friends because they said she was just a whore. No, you’re wrong she’s not I would say, you don’t know her. Who’s the fool? I am. How many of you have believed the lies she tells? “I only go with one customer” How many have been so completely torn apart, now you can’t even go to work or leave your apartment like me? You get sick and not see her for over a week and she tells you her new piece of gold was given to her by her friend for her birthday, funny how you’ve never seen it in the 6 weeks since her birthday party. You see the finger bruises on the back of her arms and just ignore it, when she tells you she hurts during sex because she not have sex in a long time you believe it. While in the back of your mind, it’s screaming ok she must’ve had a rough customer last night. When she says she can’t go with you tonight because she’s going to the beach with her family tomorrow and you walk in later to see her leaving with someone else, who just happens to be the one customer she says she goes with. Hmm. Eventually you can’t take it any more and ask her to marry you, then you get hit with an absolutely huge sum of money “to give to her family”. By this time you know in your heart she’s no good and the only thing that she cares for is money, but it’s too late because you’ve fallen in love with an image that she’s created for all the customers. I think 500,000 Baht for the family is just freaking crazy. More likely to kill me and take the money. I say no. She tells you, I know you can not pay, but does offer to move in with you for 10,000 for the bar a 50,000 guarantee and only 20,000 a month. You offer her 12,000 a month she says “You forget about me, I forget about you” and all of a sudden you find yourself crying for days on end. You sit staring at your phone records of the last time she called you, you wish you could delete her number, but you can’t. You haven’t called work in a week, you know you’re fired by now and it doesn’t even matter because life is not worth living without her. I’ve told myself for years, I would never fall in love with a gogo girl, but believe me, eventually you’ll shag one that will catch your eye and when she knows she’s hooked you, it’s over. Once those three little words escape your mouth “I love you”, the end is only months away, because she will push her luck to see exactly how much she can take you for. Just another heart broken and business as usual for Bangkok, while I sit here thinking what can I do to earn enough to give her what she wants. The sad thing is if I had it I would gladly have given her the 500k. My friend said months ago this is going to make you want to leave Thailand, if you don’t get out now. Yes, it does but not in a way that he would have thought of.
Anyone feel sorry enough for me to offer me a new job that pays well?

Dude, you're being far too hard on yourself. Just chill, learn from this experience and move on. When you're over this girl, go back into her bar and take one of her friends.
It's okay to waste some money on these girls for a good time, but don't waste your love. Plenty of beautiful and honest nonP4P girls in Thailand who are a better long-term investment if you're that way inclined.

like twinkletoes said, give yourself time to get over it... and you will. And learn from it brother. Next time you start moseying down that road you will recall the same warning signs, and tell tale items, and then (hopefully) call off the romance in a NANA second!
Quickly going out and screwing as many other girls as you can right now is a good way to quickly ease the pain.

You know that it would be stupid to do such a definitive thing for somebody who betrayed you. So, don't be depressed and realise that the life isn't always a bitch. Forget her, but don't forget what she really is.
