About a year ago I started a post about some "good" girls" I had been spending time with.

Fast forward to a little over a year later, one of the girl's in that taxi - not the central character of the original post, one of the others - has since had a baby to her farang BF. They were BF and GF for about a month at that stage. Since then all the tests have been done but frankly one look at the baby girl and one look at Dad and the tests just confirmed the obvious.
A Long distance love affair between different cultures, as many of us know, is no easy matter, throw in an unexpected pregnancy and a happy ending gets to be less likely.
Shortly after the birth Dad stopped contacting and stopped sending money. The reasons for this vary depending on who you ask - the money mad Mother or the word-breaking cheap charlie Dad. All of which is no real surprise.
This "good girl" is now talking to a lawyer to get the father to pay money to support the baby.
She is Thai and the baby resides in Thailand. He is English and resides in England. My first thought is that her chances are slim, however I am not English and have no experience in this.
Something I have read indicated that the child could qualify for British citizenship and then be eligible for support.
Anyone have an insight on this one?

I don't know about this in vice-versa, but I do know of a situation where a Falahng residing in Thailand was tracked down by his embassy and had a Paternity suit against him
If this lady's lawyers are any good, she'll probably be able to do the same
even if you're not wearing a condom (cause you've both been tested etc.), use birth control
some of us even use dual protection, condoms and a backup of BC pills for her, this way, if you break a rubber and cum inside her, no chance of getting prego
or you could always use those Morning After pills

Though is NOT recommended for frequent use as the side effects are strong and misuse can lead to major complications or even infertility in case the girl wants a baby later.

You would be suprised at the turnover in Morning After Pills in Bangkok
The WHO wrote a report about the misuse of them by sex workers who just considered them another form of contraception.
The newer ones do not have the side effects of the original brands, a girl I know that used it recently was worried it hadn't worked as she felt absolutely nothing.

In order for the baby to have the paperwork done to become a UK citizen, it must be done by the Father. Babies can not become citizens of Farang countries just by some psycho mom claiming the father came from whatever country.
She has no chance, and neither does her lawyer.

This is absolutely true. I know of a girl with a steady BF, but who shags around a couple times a month mostly without a condom. She takes the morning after pill as birth control. I told her that this is an invasive pill only to be used for emergencies and why doesn't she just start taking regualr birth control pills? Well her answer was that she did not want to get fat.

If this lady's lawyers are any good, she'll probably be able to do the same
Any one can file a paternity suit against the father and possibly win, but if he left the country it is very unlikely he would be extradited for that reason. But it could be a bit risky for him to ever return to the country were he had a paternity judgment against him.
