Whilst many of the brothers may read (and disagree with) Stickman, there is some intersting and valuable reading among the Readers Submissions he posts.

I personally prefer splitting time between 2 - 3 different ladies; it keeps you from becoming hooked on one but still allows enough familarity maintain some degree of emotional security...

China Sailor, I definitely have the same viewpoint as you in regards to splitting time between a few ladies. The familiarity makes it special but you still have your freedom. Not to say the girls don't get jealous but you just have to show them some respect and hide it from them or at least not flaunt it.
One of my friends takes being a butterfly to the extreme. The papasans laugh because it seems as if he goes up to the room more than the girls do. They joke about giving him a number.

An interesting ploy.
I made use of this same approach at the Star of Light.
I can tell you that it doesn't work at all.
I am besotted with them all and deeply in love with the whole team there.
So, experts, please think again of a workable strategy.
I'm sinking fast and joyfully drowning in the ocean of pleasure and good company and laughs. So I'm a lost cause.
I know that.
And happily so.
But just think for a moment of the army of visitors to these shores who will need some sort of defense or safety net or blanket or baby bottle to soothe away those lonely nights once they return home and suffer all those terrible withdrawal symptoms and nightmares of the Star of Light never having existed.

Joe the best method of defence is the following,,,,,
1) get yourself an official letter head from a famous solicitor.
2) Make sure you know the ladies full name
3) Get a friend to write her "letter of demand" re divorce proceeding outlining the 70% of your money and the ongoing huge amount of financial support she will require monthly for living expenses.
etc etc etc I think you have the idea.

Shallow reading..........
The guy tries to, (at every turn) dismiss the Thai woman as financially driven.
Personally I learnt the reversal when my relationship broke down. Money couldnt help me.
Infact many woman with "real feelings" show their pain and suffering all to well.
Guys like stickman (who this guy china sailor seems to pitch)
Often has shallow anti woman stuff.
The newbies might take heed.
But older more experienced punters see it for what it is, a joke.

Common sense tells you that even these woman (on the take) can fall in love as we could.
Why?
That is an insult to claim to know.
So many diverse reasons.
To place a chemical science on something like this also is as stupid.
Chemicals after all make us f*** too.
The reality is, that many instances might be illusions, many financially dependantly driven.
And again many real deep human connection that transcends shallow forums like stickmans.

Sorry to destroy the illusion for you Joe, but every single one of those angels at the Star of Light are in love with me.
I know this is hard for you to take.
But it will be easier for you, if you just go as a customer like the rest of the guys and go from mouth to mouth and not carry around the burden of the full emotional entanglement with them all,that just so happens to be my lot in life.

I think Bangkok and in fact the whole of South East Asia is not a place for people from the West who are emtionally insecure.
If you suspect that you are, then stay at home until you feel mature enough to emtionally stand on your own two feet instead of someone else's. Otherwise, coming here can lead you into a lot of trouble........and I'm not talking about trouble with the police, or Thai men, or foreigners or ex-pats or Thai ladies......I'm talking about trouble with your own mind and thinking.
This is not the place to try and sort yourself out.
Just look at the walking wounded. There is an army of them out there.
You've got to bring your own sanity with you.
The difficulty is in finding that your own sanity is so home-grown that it has no cross-cultural application and therefore is of no use here.
But, in the words of seajohn, "Have fun."

Although it happens, I don't agree w/ some of the generalizations of TGs put forth by the letter. However, with that being said, I realize that I am weak and bow easily to lust. Therefore, with that in mind, I have to implement the author’s suggestion of limited time w/the lovelies for my own sanity.
