Hopefully this thread will remain on topic and debate the reasons for this situation and not debate the morales of those using or not.
My take on this is that most BG's use a condom to avoid pregnancy, STD's are not so much thought of nor is Aids.
The number of times you hear, 'i like, but cum outside' purely because the concern is of getting pregnant.
I tell no lies when I genuinely say my mother in law from Nakhon Nowhere once complained that farrang chewing gum tasted shit, she then spat out a strawberry condom I had left by my wifes bed, (before you puke it was unused in its sealed wrapper, some of you are warped!)...i swear this to be true, she had no clue, it was very funny at the time but also a very sad state.

I must mix in "different circles" as I have only ever encountered this ambivalence toward condom usage on one occasion. Otherwise it has always been condom only. I have been frequenting Thailand for 10 years now and visit the place for a week every month (sometimes more) but avoid freelancers - mainly stick to MP's and Bars - more the former.
I have always used a condom and never (other than once) had to discuss otherwise.
I mainly frequent Suk between 26 and 2, Nana (on much less occasions) Soi 33 and Soi 31.

I remember discussions whether guys preferred condom or bb but not about it's use because of a Thai girls antipathy towards us

To get back on topic -- I have to agree with stayer11, as my general experience has been of the girls insisting to use a condom. While I have encountered girls that were more blasé and laissez faire about it, those have been quite rare.
Not quite sure what circles you hang out in QQ

EPC's comment was a bit of a shot from the hip--part seems to be a bit in defence of the TG's you lumped in your sweeping statement.
EPC comment about this topic discussed ad nauseum--now I will admit some topic's have been hashed out substancially. If we take EPC comment about topics being covered--what else do have to talk about--we should just close this chat room and just review the old threads.
Sometimes starting an new thread about an evolving and changing topic is refreashing and not having to dig through 40 pages of trite comments is nice.
Back on topic--I am sitting here in Thailand now and just got back from 3 days in Phenom Phen. Was with 10 ladies during that time and condoms were asked for every time.
3 days prior was in BKK was with 2 bar girls and a FL and all asked for condoms.
I think QQ your situation was more just a chance than the standard--this is my 10th trip and I had one which it seemed most ladies did not want to use condoms.
I still think condom use is still the standard and non use is the exception.
Finish on a recent joke/story--Why are most condom products designed for "her" pleasure-ribbed for her pleasure. If comdoms were for his pleasure then I would open one and it would empty.

Also on topic...I did a quick Search and found 38 references to the use of condoms.
Admittedly, many of them are dated, however, just these two have posts made in 2009:
Subject title: "Barebacking" : 18 Pages
Subject title: "Bare Back Sex" : 6 pages
I only checked a few of the 38 since this subject is not on a high priority listing for me. I just fail to see the need for a new thread every time a condom breaks or a TG says it is OK not to use one.
Sorry, I am beginning to sound like doc lub and that isn't good. It isn't my intent to become a forum cop.
