i knew a couple of Girls who used to dance but then became Barstaff.
their reason?, they just thought they were too old to dance and wanted to continue working.
i don't think a demotion as such, but definately a drop in salary but both were available for take out.

Some bars charge a higher BF for taking out a server, but I have found the girls will compensate for this by lowering their fee. A lot of these older girls are better in the sack than the young dancers.
Another good place to take girls from is the smaller MPs as they dont get much of a cut from the massage fee, have arranged to meet up with the girls after they knock off from work. One gave me a right bollicking for being to pissed to perform, as she wanted some fun in the sack, of course I was ready to perform in the morning but she had to go to work so she called a friend!! Only in BKK!!

some stars in the bars are actually working as service grils as tehy are to shy or lazy to work as a dancer. the lower sallary is usually overcompensated for them by the huge return they make with their customers. also some freelancers in some bars who just sit around getting drinks. ost of them don't like the strict work plan and opt to only how up whenever they feel like (need money).

Some of the bar staff make quite a bit of money, one in Carousel tells me her average month is about 30-40, 000 B.
Besides, they look great in their uniforms.

some waitresses pull more customers than the dancers. seen many dancers turned servicegirls, some were back on stage a few days later, as they couldn't handle the numbers....
nowadays barfines seem to be the same.
only mamasan is higher

Bar staff seem to have a better access to the customers as they don't have to play the "eye game" or spend time on stage dancing.
IMHO, they are generally better in bed as they are older, have more experience, and are not as arrogant!
