i have to agree with pinga. there is a saying here in hawaii with all the hostess bargirls: "once a bar girl, always a bar girl". when these girls find out how easy it is to make money with their sexuality, they use it. especially in times of financial distress. and the older they get, the more agressive they get.
but, i also have to mention that i agree with skip. i too live in hawaii. and if you are able to meet a girl through a non-bar contact, the results can be very rewarding. but, also take into consideration of where you live versus the atmosphere in thailand. hawaii is beautiful and can make phuket look like a hell hole. so when thai girls get here, they feel like they are in paradise or at least under the same weather conditions as their country. and the people in hawaii have almost the same laid back style like LOS. (although LOS has way more aloha).
so if you are living in saudi arabia, or someplace like alaska, think about the many changes they must undergo to adapt.
and remember that thai girls love their country, similar to how they bow to every temple at the corner of every intersection.
