Oui, Singolo. Très heureux. Ce n'est pas tous les jours très facile et les différences sont parfois sources de conflits, mais a priori, nos efforts sont récompensés...

Ya know MN, I was starting to like you and thought your posting was very thoughtful. And then you have to go a say stuff like Yankee talk shows!!! That's where I draw the line!!
But because I am a bigger person I will look past that comment.
It doesn't matter what formal education a woman has, it is all in their heart and mind. If they have a good heart and an open mind, a relationship can work. similarly, if the man has both it will work.
This stuff about meaningful conversations... what men want to discuss and what women want to discuss are 180 degrees apart. On top of that, the means of discussion men use is different than women.
If anyone wants to read some of the usual psychobabble, check out any of the "Venus and Mars" books. It is quite well laid out there. Also, a book written by a noted linguist "You Just Dont' Understand" maps out the anthropolgical differences between men and women in language and it transcends all formal languages and culture.
Grab a good looking one, treat her nice, use the one year rule (never talk marriage in under one year of a relationship) and hope for the best. There's a 50 - 50 chance of it working out.
Or you can end up on one of those Yankee talk shows!!

First of all, I think you are trying to compare apples to oranges. I may be incorrect in some of my statements, but that should be OK since 1) I think most are at least generally correct and 2) I know any mistake will be immediately pointed out by a brother board member and I will be ridiculed incessantly. Anyways, if you look at the trailer trash in the states that for the most part does not have an education, it is many times self generated. Those that desire an education have an easy time obtaining such. If the family does not work, she is not expected to sell her body to take care of the parents, the government will do so for her. In Thailand, I'm not so sure that an upcountry young lady can go to university just because she has the yearning to better herself.
Second, an education in and of itself does not guarantee a woman who can entertain through pleasant conversation. I have know many educated women who had zero abilities to think logically (often referred to as airheads). One in particular went to my university and was a candidate for the Rhodes Scholarship. She was intelligent when asked direct questions, but to try to string her through a logical argument was pointless. On the other hand, if one were to find an uneducated lady who could follow thought processes and was eager to learn, well all the better. Add the ability to suck a mean c*ck and you've really got something.

I think marrying a village girl is (partly) a knee-jerk reaction to western women. They are almost 180 degrees out in thought and action. This is one of the reasons men go to LOS in the first place. Most girls in LOS treat you good but some go 110% on the GFE. In the west it is that small percentage that treat you good.

Also, regarding the term 'trailer trash', I consider that more of a state of mind, than a condition based on education of location.
People identify themselves when they open their mouths, not by where they live
