I think an in-room safe would look pretty funny in a condo/apartment though.
Anyone who invites hookers up to their apartment, or who has maid service or maintenance done while not at home, should have a safe. There have been many posts in this forum about where to buy safes for private homes/apts and how much they cost. I saw a bunch of models for sale as Tesco, and I don’t think hotels buy their safes there.
Obviously, it would look nicer, and be more discreet, if the safe was behind a cabinet or in a closet, etc, pretty much the same way they are in most nice hotel rooms or serviced apartments.
