And I'll try to explain to Sporadic why I'm looking for a Thai partner instead Spanish one. That's just my opinion and feeling. I think that everyone have a model, a preference about sexual partner (maybe blond sexy aggressive girl, maybe educated and sophisticated,...). For me I like pretty, slim, small women in physical appearance and shy, gentle, good-nature ones. Moreover I'd prefer a woman who doesn't mind to stay at home and take care about children and husband. Nowadays this it's not easy to find in Spain because physically Spanish women are in general overweight (I'm doctor, so I can see a lot of then everyday). And most important, Spanish women are very demanding about marriage and men; they like independence in sex, job, relationships, economy,... whereas Thai women like to be looked after. And that is what I prefer. I think that most of men (like me) who travel to Thailand have NOT ONLY looking for sex but for something we don't have at home or at our countries. Thailand is really successfull because you can find it there.

Very interesting what you say about Spanish women. They now seem very different from the girls I knew at college 30 years ago ! But of course they grew up under the watchful eye of Generalisimo Franco. My girlfriend from Vizcaya,País Vasco (She called me Hermano Lobo) was nothing like the girls you mention. Times have really changed ?
It is also easy to get a visa for a Thai girl at the Spanish Embassy in Bangkok, well it used to be anyway ?

HOLA HERMANO LOBO. About to get a visa for Thai girls I have to say that it's a little dull, but staff in Spanish Embassy is really nice and helpful. You can consult in http://www.mae.es (there is a list of documents you'd need) ; maybe in 2-3 weeks the visa is ready (for tourism). I think that Spanish girls have changed in last 25 years (maybe the whole Spanish society has changed) because a political (as you say), social and sexual opening. That has been very good for Spain. But in my opinion, some Spanish men (baby generation, born in the sixties) are confused about relationships

The Spanish girls I used to know were great. Cook,play the guitar,sing,good conversation and looked very tasty. They were not however as 'easy' as Thai women...but you cannot have everything.

You said it Kenneth. If you live or work in Thailand or have in-laws there the requests to find a "good man" for a friend or relative are constant.
I've said it before the first genuine "good girl" is the hardest to find - after that you, and as many "good man" as you can supply will have partners waiting in line. Finding a good woman in Thailand is about as hard as finding good food there - but with both you have to look in the right places (i.e. an office not a beer bar). Enjoy.
