TIMID GUY,
1. How reliable are those STD tests in those little clinics?
STD tests are reliable. I use the Christian Hospital (near Patpong) for the blood work.
2. How much do they cost?
Around 1K....
3. How long do they take (to take and get an answer)?
4 days for the results....
4. Will the TG be offended for me asking?
Don't think so.
5. Do they test for STDs other than HIV? (Herp)
STDs and/or viral infections are well studied in Bangkok. If positive in preliminary test (HIV) you can get a Western Blot analysis, which is also available in LOS.
6. Am I still risking live and limb even after they've taken a test and all is negative?

I'm aware of the HIV risk window, and take that risk with the spot tests of girls that I have known for medium to long periods of time (3 months to a year). What I don't do is randomly get with girls I don't go get tested with (and have just met) and read up on virus myth theories to make me feel better.
Call it HIV or AIDS related illnesses/complications... what I don't want to die from is whatever those people in HIV wards in hospitals and ex-bar girls and massage parlour girls upcountry who are estranged from their families and villages (I'm assuming it's not just some worldwide staged show) are dying from.

Oh, I don't pay for all of them. Just the ones I really really like (that's one method of keeping from going crazy here... don't like anyone person too much).
I'd rather pay in Baht than paying in T-cells.
