I guess one problem is our expectation. Many guys come to LOS "expecting" many things. There is so much on this Forum, including posters' experiences, both good and bad. Some guests who are reading up here before their trip to LOS Ýmay be absorbing the "good" stories while others absorb the "not so good stories." Based on what story caught your fancy, you come here expecting the same to happen to you. It never works that way.
I think some of the most useful posts here are those that leave you with a balanced sense of what to expect. My suggestion is not to expect too much of a muchness when you come to LOS. Believe me, LOS is heaven on earth. Nevertheless, underplay your emotions when you come here. Then you will not be disappointed.
I have often found that some of my best experiences in GG bars, for example, have been those that I entered not knowing what to expect. Whereas those that I read about here and then visited were rather a let-down.
It's the same with relationships with the BGs/TGs. Just take them as they come and you will begin to enjoy the experience of "drifting." When you have no expectations you are never disappointed. Instead you stand a very good chance of having unexpected, beautiful experiences.

Couldn't agree more. Exceptionally useful though this forum must be for newbies (and HOW I wish it had been around when I was a newbie), it can do no more than indicate the type and range of experiences available in the Thai P4P scene.
I still frequently come across BGs that are nothing like other BGs I have previously encountered. Still having experiences that are entirely new to me. The learning process never seems to stop...
I think we come back to that old, old argument. Do we see these girls as commodity sex-workers or as individual people?
C'mon guys, what are you afraid of? That you won't be able to handle it if you allow another human being to touch you? Especially a human being you insist on labelling in a way that Mummy wouldn't like?
Well worth the inevitable bruises imho. You'll live.

It's what I've found too. Newer experiences every day with different girls, or in different bars, or in different MPs. Each different from the other, despite all seeming to be the same. I agree with you, we are back at that old issue of what our attitude is to the girls. Like you said on another thread earlier, this "half-way house" system has its own rewards and punishments. I really liked that!

I can see your point but..I come to LOS to have fun. Nothing more, well beside the fact that my company sends me there sometimes..so there is that work thing too..lol..I treat them with great respect..I have lots of fun...but it ends at the nightstand when I put the money down...and it is just my opinion that anyone that thinks that they are somehow different than the 100 guys they slept with last week, is fooling nobody but themselves. I've only been going to LOS for 6 years..so Im not a veteran like some here..so my opinion is not based on many years of experience. As for the semantics of what is a "relationship"..I am sure it is pretty clear what I meant..you are not paying your barber for sex!!..that was very Clinton sounding of you!!..lol

Nothing wrong at all with coming to LOS for fun. But there are many different ways of having fun with BGs.
The point I was trying to make with the barber is that there are many different types of 'relationships'. With BGs (or even women in general), we often talk as if there is a huge blank between the one-night stand and the fully-fledged BF/GF thing leading to possible marriage.
I think this is even less true with BGs than in the 'real world'. After all, regular women tend to have expectations and to require their relationships to be 'going somewhere' (ye gods, how many times have we all had to endure that conversation?) BGs are more... realistic about men, shall we say.
My own view is that instead of the blank, there is a whole spectrum of possible relationships between the ONS and the BF/GF thing, and that is relatively easy to explore these with BGs. We could be talking about the 'temporary girlfriend' thing, or the 'regular client' thing, or various other types of relationship which might be classified as 'sex-friendships' for want of a better term.
These can easily engage emotions like love, jealousy & so on, and it is certainly possible to get hurt. On the other hand, there are plenty of highs to compensate for the lows.
Anyway, all I'm saying really is that you can get a helluva lot more value out of your BG than a one-off bonk. If you hit if off with a nice girl whose company you enjoy outside the bedroom as well as inside, then why not just go with it for a while to see what happens? You don't have to make her the biggest thing in your life, or even the only woman. By the same token, she's not going to make you the biggest thing in her life, and certainly not the only man. But it can be nice, even so - and not just for the guy, I think.
Of course, you should only do this if you find it satisfying and fun. After all, as you say, that's the whole point of coming to LOS...

As has been already stated there are many different modes to a relationship with a BG, what starts out as P4P can lead to many places some good some not so good. I would recommend the following reading which is on the whole a well written and interesting study on the BG scene, especially interesting for those new to relationships with TG/BG's.
