Try Madrid. Opens at 6:30 (serves a great breakfast) and several of the waitresses fall into that range... most will do take-out (ST rooms are just upstairs). "Sa" (the manager) speaks english and while the main business is food/beer she can help get you connected if you are polite with your approach.
They have what you might call a specialty niche taking care of geriatric customers (like me).

I LOVE Madrid! ÝBut their claim to the best pizza in BKK ain't even close. ÝThe women are very sweet, though, if a bit careworn.
I have heard farangs in there, speaking Thai on the phone, who are audibly indistinguishable from Thais. ÝIt has a long-time following...
