You're right 'careless' is much more accurate than 'forgetfull' regarding condom use.
However I just had another conversation just now with the 'victum' followed one with her friend.
f_cking eh they now say it was just a damn joke played out in her drunkenness or whatever 
Sorry about that, so afterall it's a happy twist as she then isn't HIV+ anyway - if that will be the final say!

Getting HIV is easier than one may think, especially in LOS, which is a country with high prevalence of HIV. Be always damned careful and wrap/unwrap that raincoat in a proper way.
Someone may find interesting what happened to me.
Among all the TC I met last time, there was two cases that scared me a lot.
THe most scaring was a cutie that I met in Nana Disco.. I will not mention all the wonderful f_cks that we had, but the last one was a nightmare... when I went outside her I saw my condom totally covered of her blood. Yes, condoms do offer protection, but sometime not at all. The base of my dick, where the condom ends, was also covered of blood. All I did was to run in the bath and wash out with some water.. but unwrapping the condom I realized how easy is to spread infected fluids to everywhere... my fingers was painted of blood too.. and unrolling the raincoat I spread some blood even in the middle of the dick, not too far from the prepuce. That was even more scaring..
After that, I learnt that it exist also right and wrong way to unwrap raincoats, which I totally ignored it before.
If you unwrap it pulling it out (same as I did) you may touch vaginal fluids still in the condom and spread them in your dick. Surely not a good idea if those fluids have HIV or any other shit inside.
I spent the worse 3 months of my life waiting for the test... you can't imagine what means living and waiting for the test, with the doubt to have got the virus.
During those 3 months I learnt what are the first symptoms of an HIV infection during the very early stage(the so called primary infection)... hoping none of them would have showed up during the first month .. cold, fevers, joint pains, swollen glands.. etc etc... unfortunately, after 3 weeks I had fever, swollen glands and joint pains... I believed I was f_cked... I was almost sure to have got it.
The day in which I had to go to pick up the results of the test was the longest of my life..

Damn... I read that paper 10 times to make sure I read correctly... I wanted to frame it and put in a wall, so beautiful looked to my eyes.
Anyway, for those who don't know it, here some facts....
1 - it exists a window period before one turns HIV positive from the infection. The body takes from 2 to 12 weeks before building antibodies anti-HIV.
Routine HIV test are based on anti-HIV antibodies. So, one should wait at least 3 months to be reasonabily sure that he did not get the infection.
2 - The probability of getting infected by blood or by vaginal fluids aren't very high if they do not come in contact with your mucous (especially lining of the urethra and foreskin of your dick), but micro-lesions, micro-abrasions or STD as Herpes or Warts in other parts still repesent an excellent door for the virus to enter in the bloodstream.
3 - WHO said from 1,8 to 2% of adult people is living with HIV/AIDS in Thailand.
And this is my opinion... when we talk about TC that we pick up in Freelance spot or Beer Bars, then we should assume that the percentage indicated by WHO is surely much higher.
I believe that in MP gals are checked for STD and HIV, but due to window period and intervals between one check and another, you are never sure at 100%. Possibly, upscale MP do check up more often.
Situation get worse in BB, where I found workers that even do not care to use condom.. those girls made me convinced that Bar Beer owners do not check their gals, nor all of them are educated to use the condom. One time I had a very cute girl that was making a handjob in front of me, and suddenly jumped over my dick.. soo quick... .. too late... my dick was inside her without protection... many unpredictable thing can happen.
Anyway, at least Bar Beer gals are trained to avoid going with farangs if they have menstruations.... Freelancers may even not care to tell you they are in their period, which is what happened to me.
Personally, I will try to avoid as much as possible freelancers.

9.345 new aids cases reported in Thailand year 2001. Female 20 - 24: 373. Female 25 - 29: 901.
If we belive that all sex-workers are checked regularly and have to stop work(gogo girls MP girls at least) when they test positiv, OK the risk is there but not as bad as it might sound.
WHO also says that of the total population ther is 2% men and 1% females living with aids but the figure for the sex-workers in Bangkok must be much, much lower.
According to WHO the numbers are dropping dramaticaly every year.

Don't be too scared of my word. Just make sure you wrap and unwrap in a proper way, and possibly make sure that she's not in her period.
I want to be as much safe as possible, but without getting paranoid. If we get paranoid then we might need some viagra to get it stiff.. Personally, I will continue to butterfly and exercize in some delicious pussy eating, but I will be more careful than in the past about various things.. first of all keeping myself far away from freelancers, which in my case have been demonstrated to have a very unpredictable behaviour.
Rather, I will try to pick up a cutie out from a MP or some other place where I think they are somehow checked.
Coming back to statistic, here below a official of Unaids Thailand...

at page 4 you can read the percentage of sex workers living with hiv/aids... according to them is 6.7% in big towns while in country the percentage varies a lot, ranging from 0 to 42% in country. At page 14-15 you will see how, for some unknown reasons, hiv is much more prevalent in sex workers of the area between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
They don't specify how many sw from MP, BB, Freelance, etc, but is not difficult to imagine that in MP the situation should be not as bad (if we assume they are checked).
It is true that numbers in Thailand number of new cases are dropping every year. But that doesn't mean that number of people with hiv are dropping.. cumulative cases are still increasing.
Anyway.. soon I will be there and I am planning to go hunting in Bkk - Pattaya.. I will play safe and hopefully get a lot of fun without being scared as the last time.
