I was actually thinking of bringing a couple of battery operated toothbrushes for the girls I meet in Phnom Penh since someof thier diets include fried locusts and boiled tarantulas. After I leave their I'l be in LOS for 10 days . Should I bring anything like that for the girls in LOS or would they like postcards from the USA like Las Vegas . Thought they can dream about life in the USA away from being working girls, giving them some hope .

Tyler Durdin reminded me of another no-no: avoid giving Thais things like knives or scissors as gifts. These are considered bad luck gifts since they "cut" the relationship. Not that I'd consider giving a knife or scissors to a Thai girl anyway, after all those stories of irate girls doing a custom circumscision!

yeah, I stayed away from the perfume on purpose, figured that would get me in even deeper. But my TGF does wear perfume when we go out at night, really smells great.
Your idea about sleepwear is an interesting one, as it is nearly impossible to get her to sleep sans clothes of some sort anyway. So why not something I like too, come to think of it.

BB: Sleep wear (tank tops, pajama pants, and little athletic type shorts) goes over nicely. I like the breathable cotton type that clings to them because it looks super great on them. When you buy the clothes, for most TGs get the XS, in the store you wouldnt think it would even fit a 8 yr old but the sleepwear does stretch and these girls are tiny beyond belief (most TGs are 5'1" and 90lbs which is about the size of your average falang 8 yr old). I once made the mistake of buying a S and saw it wouldnt fit my TG, I ended up giving it to another girl I met that was "bigger" (5'4" and 103lbs).
For another girl I knew better, I bought her a tank top and thong underwear that looked so good on her but she never got to wear it more than 5 minutes at a time because after a shower and I saw it on her, we would soon be on the bed and then off they came.
Also beats the girls sleeping in towels, whats up with that?

as with you,my girl loved it and has her room key on it.
in return she gave me a key-ring with our names on it and i will always treasure it.

The trick with towels is just to think of it as gift wrapping. Ý
Take it off her and then fling it somewhere she can't get it back. ÝI've not had to much trouble getting girls to sleep au naturel; it's just a matter of wearing them out so that they're asleep when their head hits the pillow.

tyler, i know tht you heard about buying shoes was bad luck was from the 'korean bar girl society'. chinese haven't heard of it. at least the girls i know. but i always use this bad luck motto when i am with one that wants me to buy their shoes.
chili, a cheap SLR camera is also a good gift that would benefit you also- in the long run.
