upstairs at Country Road bar is a gay bar.
That is if we are talking about the bar entered by the stairs to the right of the main entarnce.
Well it was a gay bar in 2002 when I went there. I was with BG who wanted to stay for the live Thai music, so OK.

After doing some more research, I realiszed that I know the Country Road. I was there in Aug 2003. It was pretty busy, almost seemed to be an ex-pat place rather than a pick up place. I was with somebody so not looking for action then. Certainly not a Gay bar at that time.

Sure I have been in Country Road a few times during last year., and it is OK.
Sometimes ther are a few good looking girls in there, but it is pretty laid back compared to say cowboy or NEP bars.
I have taken girls from there in times gone by.
The bar up the stairs to the right of the main entrance was definitely gay, with live Issaan music and karaoke. The kiss on the cheek from the waiter when we went in was the first clue
