Bimher, IMo there's no better way to make a TG (or any G for that matter) go all soft over you. On my last trip, I used to wake up and make coffee for her and used to give her hour-long foot massages. I can vouch that the payoff in terms of the whole GF experience was simply awesome. You are correct the girl called them tampons but they were really pads not tampons. Infact they didn't even sell any tampons in the whole store as I checked. She said tampons so thought that was what she wanted but it was really pads.
She and another couple girls all said their periods lasted for 4 days. All my western girlfriends always lasted longer? Is this something to do with using pads instead of tampons or is it about genetics, Thais are just made to have more sex so their periods are shorter in duration.

I think the six months refers to HIV testing and to the presumed latency period for HIV antibodies to be apparent after a possible exposure.
As you say, the turn-around time for a test is not that long. But the antibodies may not be present until six months after the exposure. An HIV test prior to this time might return negative for exposure when in fact a person had been exposed.
