A waitress at GT speaks French. I also met a Poseidon 3rd floor girl who also speaks French (She lived in Paris for a while).
The most suprising case of a Thai speaking well a western language different from English that I have seen is the young woman I met in one of those "long-neck" women villages near Mae Ho Song. This long-neck woman (in her early 20s) speaks very well and is fluent in Spanish (also good with Italian).

Speaking of "weird" people speaking French I met last time a very old (probably well over 80 years old) lady who was selling cakes in Chinatown....I was asking her something in English and she replied in perfect French, she told me she was a school teacher in French Indochine before to come and live in BKK....

Both Dusseldorf and Frankfurt have a large asian community. Lots of chinese people live in Frankfurt and Dusseldorf has the biggest japanese community on the continent.
As for thai people/girls, there's quite a lot of them living there and also lots working in the trade. There's a lot of girls that used to be bar girls in LOS, came over and married germans just to find that their marriage didn't work out the way they expected.
Depending on their marital status as well as the farangs financial resources, they now are working in/owning a restaurant, asian food store or resorting back to p4p.
They do all of these things, of course, to save enough money to go back to thailand and live a comfortable life there (who wouldn't?)...
Naturally, these girls can speak german to a fair extent.
I've actually met two girls that were able to converse in german on my two trips to LOS. I suppose it's gotta be the same with french (speaking ) ?
From visiting MPs; lot’s of girls told me they could speak japanese more or less good. I was unable to verify that, but there’s certainly some that do speak mandarin pretty well.
