Non workers in "Q" bar BK ...?? DONTHINKSO ! reckon nowdays they are as full on there as anywhere ! As posted elsewhere, I would say RCA is your best bet, but you want to be probably in the 20-30 bracket, not bad looking and preferably speak some Thai - other options are upcountry, where the farang is still a bit of a novelty, or else have a lash at a department store girl - but as pointed out, in the long run, hardly worth it, as generally it will take time, a meal or two, also catering for her mates, as they wont go out with you unaccompanied, and next thing you will getting dragged past the Gold shop !

^ yeah, mostly it's male fantasy, the freebie. Yes, techinically it's free. But unless you just run off the next morning, it's going to cost you (more) sooner or later. Free sex costs more than paid sex, at least for me, where I feel my time is worth more than XXXX for 2 hours. As an example (freebie believin' fellas can perhaps attest), "freebies" will often involve you watching 10-20 hours of Thai TV, movies, dinners, walking aimlessly through malls and markets, per week cuddling (it's fine if you're in the mood for that... but all f&#kin' year?). Can you think of a bigger waste of time?
I have a regular girl just for cultural and tradition sake, but sometimes, I'm thinking *if this was my MP girl, I could just say 'get outta here, I gotta take care of some biz,'* and get back to the biz of making a living or hitting tennis balls.
You look at the "bosses" here. They can all get it for free from legions of girls. Yet they choose to pay for it (through MPs or mia nois, mistresses) because it's more practical. If however, the thrill of the hunt is what you're after (and investing your time is not a concern), yeah, it can be done. Just remember though that if you hookup with a girl who is not your economic equal (more or less than you), naturally the cashflow will flow one way or the other. It's Asian economic theory.  Again, just commenting, fellas, not pissing.

It doesnt alway have to be that way, but I see what PRip is talking about, been there... Although I still always managed to set the tone. Thats the thing. Yes it is the thrill of the hunt the thrill of the score, that in itself makes dating 'legit' girls as well as BG (that I'm not paying for either) 'right' on some many levels.
But if you set the tone right at the beginning and she's into you, then you dont have a 'you give' relationship you have a 'both give' relationship with you controling the tone, pace, etc. At least with both some of my own and with some of my friends' cases, I see how some TGs obsessive love and lust convictions can be shaped and harnessed into something positive and liberating for the guy involved and not an emotional and baht drain.. My girls know that when Fanta needs his 'down low time' you best accomedate that and not pout about it, well ideally, it doesnt always happen with out some pouting at first.

I agree with Rip that there is a convienience factor in paying, but I thrive on the thrill of the hunt. So much so, that once Ive gone the distance, earned my scalp, I'm often immediately bored and looking for another one. It then becomes hard to justify paying when you can get it for free. Maybe if I had a higher income, I'd have less qualms about paying. But Rip, your certainly right about the time investment factor required for good freebies.... opportunity cost!
Was it you Fanta who was on the prowl for older chicks - I think there is a scence, but I dont know much about it. There used to be a club for partner swapping (Thai only) but I think they've since gone underground

If we talking about freebies:the best option from my experience is some BG or Freelancer,that already have reach farang boyfriend,not staying with her most of the time.American naive sugar daddy,sending money every month and thinking his TILAK waiting just for him...

There is (or at least was, I haven't checked up on it for a few years) a swingers group called Oriental Swingers Club, meeting weekly at a bar a bit behind the Bang Su police station. Run by a Thai called "Dr.Jimmy" They accept visiting foreign couples. As I understand it, the weekly parties are just mixers, no sex on premises, people just mix and mingle and then go off to homes, hotels etc for the action. I think there is a moderate fee to keep the riff raff out (that was the way they put it -- not my own words).
Previously there was a different swingers club on Soi Wat Ladprao (right in my own old neighborhood) but they got busted, too blatant and too near a major temple, or maybe they just were late on making payments, or maybe some police colonel caught the clap there, I don't know.
There is (or again, used to be) a local magazine called "Thai Playboy" that was associated with one or both of these swing operations, Thai text and B&W halftones on trashy paper, with a few full color pages plus f/c cover thrown together.
Incidentally these places want proof that couples are married, they don't want a farang guy with some bar girl pickup cruising on it. Again, THEIR prejudice and certainly not mine own, so don't blame me.
